Paulina Kaczmarczyk - a graduant (with distinction) of Prof. Tomasz Miczka oboe class in the Academy of Music in Katowice. She also studied in the Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Frankfurt am Main as an Erasmus student of Prof. Fabian Menzel.
During 2010-11 she was an oboist of the National Philharmonic Orchestra in Warsaw. Since 2011 she has been a solo-oboist of the Poznań Philharmonic Orchestra.
She cooperates with Beethoven Academy Orchestra, Sinfonietta Cracovia, NFM Wrocław, AUKSO Chamber Orchestra etc. She was an oboist of I, Culture Orchestra, European Philharmonic Orchestra.
She has been a prize-winner of many competitions: Ohrid Pearls (Macedonia), Michał Spisak Music Competition in Poland, semi-finalist of competitions in Cluj-Napoca (Romania) and Łódź (Poland). She was qualified and participated in the International Oboe Competition of Karuizawa (Japan), Prague Spring (Czech Republic), Muri Competition (Switzerland).
She played under the direction of: Sir N. Marriner, C. Hogwood, A. Boreyko, J. Kaspszyk, R. de Leeuw, C.P. Flor, K. Penderecki etc. She performed in Poland, France, Scottland, Austria, Germany, Sweden, Italy, and during festivals:
Warsaw Autumn, Edinburgh Festival, Wratislavia Cantans, Poznań Music Spring, Fränkischen Musiktage Alzenau.
She took part in master classes with: D. Jonas, H. Schellenberger, M. Bourgue, F. Leleux, G. Witt. She received scholarships from the Ministry of Culture, Sapere Auso and Talents of Lednica foundations.
