Mateusz Loska was born in 1986 in Tychy. Double bass performer, still improving his skills and interests about the improvisation and interpretation of widely understood XX. and XXI. century music. In 2007-2009 he studied in the class of prof. Piotr Czerwiński and MusD Szymon Guzowski in I.J.Paderewski Academy of Music in Poznan. As a soloist and chamber musician he performed during such festivals as International Contemporary Music Festival Poznań Music Spring, MUSICACOUSTICA BeiJing, Silesian Contemporary Music Days as well as in a Silesian Composers' Tribune.
Participant of the masterclasses conducted by Evgeny Kołosov (Moscow), Bonawentura Nancka (Rostock), François Rabbath (Paris), Rinat Ibragimov, Leon Bosch (both from London), Thierry Barbe (Paris) and MBE Chi-Chi Nwanoku (London). During last 3 years , as an orchestra and chamber musician he performed 220 times in total on the scenes of 29. European countries, Republic of China, Mongolia and Taiwan. He also took part in creating sound installations. 1st prize winner at the "Closer to Warsaw Autumn" Competition. Member of Sepia Ensemble since the beginning of its activity. Founder of the soundtrack recordings stored in animated movies, short films and art house films.
